...Hey, Hibiki. I... noticed something, looking through old posts, and... I think we've got a problem. Again.

We think there are four of us, right? You, me, the purple one, and the short yellow one? But... if that's the case, who are the other two? I could see the purple one being that tall purple-haired girl that was with us, in that one video. And the yellow one... could be Ako, if I wanted to really push what made any sense. But then... who is that black Cure that's been showing up? It can't be either of those two.

So we're back to square one. Again.

Heroes... yeah, it's a good thing. [There's a bit of a hollow response there. It wasn't that long ago that Kanade wanted to quit.]

She might be... I'm trying not to think about that. What kind of person is so cavalier to such important people? It's like she doesn't even care. I... have a problem with that.

That's understandable. It's what makes me afraid she might really be an enemy. If she's not... Then I don't know, maybe she has her reasons. But you should probably stay far away from her, just in case.

No... well, maybe. It's just that I kind of... up until recently, I just felt so down all the time. Like something was missing. I'm getting better, mostly because Hibiki and I made up, but that word... "heroes"... it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. A "hero" is someone that fights without regard for her own problems, because the things she fights for are more important. But what happens when your own problems are more important? Do you just... push them aside and suffer through them? Or do you leave the hero business to someone else until you're ready again? Not that my problems are so... big. It's just been bugging me.

[She sighs.] I sure hope she has reasons. Otherwise, we're in trouble. A Precure team that can't do its job is a liability, to all of us. Believe me, I want nothing to do with her, whether she's trying to help or not.

Hm, that's an interesting question. Problems like that are already a big deal, but when it comes to Precure... Well, they're responsible for a lot, aren't they? They have to protect a lot of people. But if they're too busy worrying about other things, then they're not as effective at that, are they? So maybe... someone who worries more about their own problems, rather than the lives they have to defend... Who feels their own problems are more important... Maybe someone like that shouldn't even be a hero at all? [Setsuna looks thoughtful.] It's a difficult situation, but that's just what I think.

If things get too bad, maybe someone from the community should look into this black Cure? They might be able to help.

[Kanade is prepared enough to distance herself from the vague critique... but it still hurts. Still though...]

It's a little different from what I need for myself, but... you may be right. A hero... needs to be someone who can put herself aside, or work through her own problems. But at the same time... heroes are people too. We need to be able to give them some space, right?

And I think we're just going to let this whole thing with that black Precure work itself out. We're civilians, after all. What business do we have looking for that answer?

That's a nice way of looking at it, but heroes are responsible for so many lives. So they can't really get the space they need to work through their problems like normal people. So the only people who can really be heroes are the ones who can always put others before themselves, no matter how difficult it is. That's why not just anyone becomes one.

[Setsuna smiles reassuringly.] Of course, that's just me speculating. I'm not a hero myself, after all, so I don't know how I'd deal with those kinds of problems. Maybe I'm completely wrong.

Alright, that's a good idea. But if she ever starts to cause trouble for you, you should ask for help on the community. I hope you won't have to, of course, but you never know.

Hmm... I'll have to think on this for a little bit. It's not really a simple topic. But thank you for your opinion. I'll give it some more consideration.
